Botan Princess Sinemkhan Bedirkhan has been granted “Honorary Award” in the Kurdish Women’s Poems Festival jointly organized by the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government and Ministry of Culture and Youth.

Starting on October 1, the Slemani Film Festival will show 120 films from 57 countries. Adopting the “Earth Cancer” as its theme to raise environmental and ecological awareness, the festival will predominantly feature films of Kurdish directors from Turkey.
