Kobanî trial

Facing aggravated life imprisonment over the Kobanî protests from seven years ago, the HDP politicians appeared before the judge today, on April 26. The court board has rejected the attorneys' request for recusal.

Political party leaders from Europe and Members of the European Parliament have released a joint statement and made a call for solidarity with the Peoples’ Democratic Party ahead of the first hearing of the Kobanî trial scheduled for April 26.
