Advocates affiliated with Istanbul Bar Association held a night-long “justice watch” in Istanbul Courthouse against Turkey’s homeland security act draft.

Istanbul Bar Association Animal Rights Commission filed a lawsuit against the regulation which permits test on animals even if they lack of medical training.

“Prosecutors considered protestors’ protective helmets and goggles as weapons, issuing arrest warrants. We have yet to find out about 9 people who were declared as missing,” Istanbul Bar Association Chairperson Ümit Kocasakal said.
