The Batman Branch of the İHD has released its 2021 annual report on violations of rights: 5,019 violations of rights were documented in the province in a year, which means, on average, 14 violations occurred in the city every day.

3,118 violations of rights in Turkey's 20 prisons in the last 3 months of 2021
According to the last quarterly report of the Human Rights Association’s İstanbul Branch, 3,118 violations of rights in total, including eight losses of life, occurred in 20 prisons in Turkey in the last three months of 2021.
