The Supreme Court has affirmed penalty of HDP Co-Chair Yüksekdağ, who was sentenced to 10 months in prison on charge of “terror organization propaganda” for attending funeral of Yasemin Çiftçi from MLKP in 2012.

İstanbul Security Directorate has proclaimed that the raid conducted on HDP Co-Chair Yüksekdağ’s house was to catch a suspect and had nothing to do with Yüksekdağ.

Noting that an unlawful police raid has been conducted to Yüksekdağ’s declared place of residence in use, HDP has an investigation to be launched immediately into those ordering and carrying out the raid.
