ECtHR appeal by family of Mahsum Mızrak, who was shot to death in his head by gas cartridge fired in a police attack in Diyarbakır 10 years ago has been concluded; Turkey has been fined to pay compensation for violating right to life.

Appeal to ECtHR for Retrial of Öcalan
Attorney Yürekli has said they demanded the Constitutional Court that the PKK Leader Öcalan be retried on the ground of the act passed in 2013 but the court telling it doesn’t try suits antecedent to 2012, and that they have appealed to the ECtHR.

ECtHR Rules in Favor of Conscientious Objector Aydemir
ECtHR passing a sentence on the trial of conscientious objector Aydemir refusing to do military service due to his religious belief, has ruled that Turkey had violated Article 3 of the convention prohibiting torture, and "inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment" and convicted Turkey to 18,000 compensation payment.
