Diyarbakır Governorship has announced that curfew has been declared in 69 villages and hamlets in the districts of Lice and Kulp in Turkey’s southeastern province of Diyarbakır on the ground of an operation to be launched in the region.

Curfew has been declared in the villages and hamlets in the district of Hizan in Bitlis due to an operation to be launched in the region.

Upon the explosion of two explosives on two consecutive days in Yüksekova, one child has lost his life and one adult has been injured. In the last two years, explosion of ammunition left behind from operations has claimed the lives of 19 children and injured 36 people.

An explosion has occurred at the garden of a house in Güngör Neighborhood in Yüksekova, where conflicts have escalated during operation period, leaving İbrahim Akdağ injured. At another incident in the same neighborhood, 10 year-old Oktay also lost his life the previous day.

Curfew was declared in three districts in Diyarbakır as of today due to an operation to be launched.

Diyarbakır Governorship has announced that curfew has been declared due to an operation to be launched in 17 villages and hamlets in Lice and Kulp districts in province of Diyarbakır.

While curfew was declared in 13 villages, hamlets and neighborhoods, the curfew declared in Hizan, Güroymak and Mutki has been lifted.

Curfew was declared in five villages and two hamlets in Hizan, Bitlis as of today.

After the operations carried out in 42 villages of Diyarbakır have ended, the curfew declared in these regions have been lifted as well.

Curfew has been declared in 42 villages in districts of Silvan, Hazro, Kocaköy, Kulp and Lice in Diyarbakır province due to an operation to be launched.

Due to planned military operations, curfew has been declared in some regions of Silvan district of Turkey’s southeastern province of the predominantly Kurdish Diyarbakır.

Announcing that military operations would be carried out in 12 neighbourhoods in Silvan, Diyarbakır in southeastern Turkey, Diyarbakır Governorship has declared curfew that would be in effect as of this morning.

According to the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey, at least 268 curfews were declared in at least 47 districts in 11 provinces; fundamental rights of at least 1,809,000 people were violated.

Curfew has been declared as an operation to be launched in four areas in Hakkari’s district of Şemdinli. Students and shuttles have been exempted from the ban.

Mardin Governorship has announced that operations would be carried out in Akarsu neighbourhood in Nusaybin and that therefore curfew was declared in the neighbourhood which would be in effect until further notice.

According to the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey’s statement, there has been at least 252 officially confirmed round-the-clock and open-ended curfews in 11 cities and rights of 1,809,000 people have been violated.
