The Health Ministry has released the weekly provincial COVID-19 rates. The new numbers have shown that the number of cases per 100,000 people was over 530 in Istanbul and 360 in the capital city of Ankara on April 24-30.

According to Turkey’s Health Ministry, 340 people died of coronavirus and nearly 26 thousand people tested positive with slightly over 240 thousand tests in a day. The country will now drop PCR test obligation for visitors from 16 countries.
