Detained and released afterwards, HDP Siirt MP Besime Konca has been arrested upon prosecutor’s office’s objection. The number of arrested HDP MPs has increased to 12 with the arrest.

About dropping of their deputyship and by-election possibility, HDP MP Sancar has said “If the AKP is making these calculations, it can plot towards dropping deputyships. They own every instrument of political power. Our only base is people”.

The declaration released following the CHP Party Assembly meeting has criticized arrest of Cumhuriyet newspaper executives and writers.
