Survey: CHP is ahead of the AKP among first-time voters

The Yöneylem Social Research Center has released the results of its first-time voters' survey.

The study, which was carried out in April 2022, was conducted with 3,444 people through face-to-face interviews in 27 provinces of Turkey.

Accordingly, the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) took first place with 36.9 percent in the vote preference of the first-time voters between the ages of 18-22.

CHP was followed by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) with 21.2 percent.

While the rate of undecided voters remained at 13 percent, the rate of those who said they would not vote was 7.1 percent.

According to the survey, the rate of other parties is as follows:

HDP: 9 percent

MHP: 5,1 percent

Good Party: 3,9 percent

DEVA: 0,8 percent

Saadet: 0,5 percent

Other: 2,5 percent
