AFAD: The death toll has risen to 31,974

31,974 people died while 195,692 people were transferred to other regions and there have been 3.170 aftershocks until now in the February 6 earthquakes as of 13:30 pm. today in Türkiye, it was announced by the Disaster and Emergency Presidency (AFAD).

35,249 rescuers are working in the earthquake-hit regions, 9.456 of which have come from other countries.

The total number of personnel working in the region reached 249,089.

Aid sent to the earthquake region

According to the statement by AFAD, 48.271 containers, 227,762 tents, and over 2 million blankets have been sent to the region.

Again 334 mobile kitchens, 86 catering vehicles, 33 mobile bakeries, and 252 service vehicles have arrived in the ten cities.

Four mobile social support centers have been established in Maraş , Hatay, Osmaniye, and Malatya.

A total of 256.605 personnel are delivering services after the earthquake, 221.651 of which are in the earthquake-hit region. (NK/TY/PE)
