Tensions climbed in the southern province of Hatay as police attacked those who attended Ahmet Atakan’s funeral and left Aycan Karaalioğlu severely injured. Police violence spread across Turkey, especially in Mersin, Antalya, Çanakkale, Ankara and Izmir.
