Dam Gate Breaks Off, Hevsel Gardens Flooded
A flood has occurred in the district of Eğil in Diyarbakır after one of the gates of Tigris Dam broke off while it was opened to remove the excessive water. Hevsel Gardens, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List, have been flooded.
