“If the suspect, Ekrem İmamoğlu, is innocent, then he must be acquitted. If not, then he must be penalized in a manner that aligns with public conscience, absolutely and as quickly as possible," says the nationalist leader.

Nearly half of the country's provinces were hit by the agricultural freeze, damaging a wide range of crops from fruits and vegetables to tea and nuts.

The journalists were detained based on the statements of suspects in a money laundering investigation, who alleged that the journalists had threatened and blackmailed them. They were released under judicial supervision at midnight.
