Faced with declining public support, Turkey's ruling alliance is set to amend the election law to secure the parliamentary majority without having to get the majority of the votes in the next year's elections.

The minister's previous predictions about the inflation rate did not come true.

"In the law index, Turkey dropped from 80th place to 117th place from 2015 to 2021. Between 2015 and 2021, interest expenses increased from 53 billion to 181 billion liras," MP Katırcıoğlu has said.

Nationalist Movement Party leader Devlet Bahçeli has argued that the TTB is “a small minority who leads citizens to fear when the COVID-19 disease intensifies, fuels concerns and opens Turkey’s medical institutions to debate”.

Germany’s Chancellor Scholz and President Erdoğan agreed to improve cooperation and called for a lasting ceasefire at their meeting in Ankara. Regarding Russia’s S-400s, Erdoğan said, “We need to see what the conditions will bring about".
