The General Staff has announced that it sent an official visitor to retired generals Şener Eruygur and Hurşit Tolon, imprisoned suspects for the Ergenekon case. There is no information about the reason and content of the visit.

Prosecutor Zekeriya Öz, who runs the Ergenekon case, has asked the military prosecutor about the content of Ergenekon Suspect Veli Küçük’s personal organizer. The prosecutor's reply was that it could jeopardize the lives of those whose names were mentioned in them.

There have been four explosions or bombed attacks in Güngören and Üsküdar districts in Istanbul, Mersin and Izmir. Authorities and the media held the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) responsible for the attacks, but the PKK have not assumed any responsibility yet.

In Izmir, a car was exploded with a remote control while military and police service vehicles were passing. 7 police officers, 1 colonel, 2 privates and 6 civilians passing by are injured. There is a police quarter 50 meters from the scene.
