PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan released a mesage through a Peace and Democracy Party, saying that he was supporting the transparancy in peace process - which he named it to be on its second stage.

“Prosecutors considered protestors’ protective helmets and goggles as weapons, issuing arrest warrants. We have yet to find out about 9 people who were declared as missing,” Istanbul Bar Association Chairperson Ümit Kocasakal said.

Early this morning, police attacked the tents of Gezi Resistance protestors with water cannons and gas bombs, detaining approximately 30 people in the central province of Eskişehir.

Police attacked Taksim Square and Park tonight. The police evicted Gezi Park and torn protestor tents apart. Several roads leading to Taksim Sqaure were reportedly filled with tear gas. Many injuries were reported.

Taksim Solidarity counted its meeting with PM Erdoğan to Gezi Park protestors. A forum has been launched to determine on the next steps of the process. The group will have a press a statement at 10 am tomorrow.

A delegation from Taksim Solidarity has been received by PM Erdoğan last night in Ankara. The government spokesperson Hüseyin Çelik made a declaration after the meeting, saying that they will wait for court’s final decision on the future of Gezi Park and go on a plebiscite no matter the outcome of the ongoing prosecution. He also pledged that the government will make necessary investigations on police violence and take necessary measures.

Many Gezi Parkers bianet interviewed today said that “Gezi Park is safe until police comes” and did not seem favorable to a referendum on the future of Gezi Park.

A recent poll conducted by KONDA on 4411 participants on Gezi Resistance revealed that Gezi protestors are averagely 28 years old with 79 percent not affiliated with any political organization and 45 percent attending a protest for the first time.
