Responding to Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affair’s travel alert for citizens of Turkey planning to visit Germany, German Chancellor Merkel said: “No journalists are arrested here”

An investigation has been launched upon CHP İstanbul MP Tanrıkulu’s statement that civilians were being shot by armed drones.

The court has ruled that HDP MP Ayhan Bilgen, who is facing trial on the charge of “being a member of a terrorist organization” regarding the Kobanê protests from October 6-8, 2014, be released pending trial. Ayhan had been behind bars for over seven months.

German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned German citizens planning to visit Turkey about “arbitrary arrests” in Turkey. Foreign Minister Gabriel said that this advice was informative.
