Two Turkish army soldiers have been killed and three others wounded in an attack in al-Bab, Syria. The soldiers were part of Operation Euphrates Shield, jointly run by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army.

HDP Diyarbakır MP İdris Baluken into custody today in Ankara has been arrested.

HDP İstanbul Provincial Administrator and Media Consultant Süleyman Başer was arrested today on the charge of “being a member of an [illegal] organization”. Attorney Pişkin says there is no concrete evidence for the arrest.

Gendarmerie Noncommissioned Officer İşcan lost his life when an engineering vehicle drove over an improvised explosive device as it was minesweeping in al-Bab.

Last night, unidentified suspects opened fire on the home of the brother of pro-government journalist Cem Küçük. There were no casualties in the attack.
