Karayazı Co-Mayor Göksu from the HDP has been dismissed after she was arrested for "terrorist propaganda."

The hearing of imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş at the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has been held. The judges are expected to announce their judgement at a later date.

Speaking at a live TV program, İstanbul Metropolitan Mayor İmamoğlu said, “Why would İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality transfer 20-25 million lira to a TV series of TRT? Is it a job of municipal corporations to sponsor a series?”

Berger and İmamoğlu have exchanged views on cooperation and problems of the city.

While protests have been going on in front of the HDP building in Diyarbakır, the police did not allow a sit-in in front of the AKP building.

Seven people, including HDP’s Karayazı Co-Mayor Melike Göksu in Erzurum, have been taken into custody. Among the detained are also Karayazı municipal council members.
