Seventeen members of the party were remanded in custody yesterday as part of an investigation into the 2014 "Kobani protests" in mostly Kurdish-populated provinces.

As of today, the events to be organized by civil society organizations, professional organizations in the capacity of public institutions such as bar associations, unions and cooperatives have been postponed till December 1, 2020.

After HDP’s Kars Provincial Co-Mayor Ayhan Bilgen was arrested with 16 other HDP politicians earlier today, a trustee has been appointed to the Kars Municipality by the Interior Ministry. Detained yesterday, Co-Mayor Alaca was also removed from office.
