Ağın district authorities ordered x-ray scans for a kestrel, a wild bird that was accused by villagers of being an Israeli spy due to a ring on its limb saying “'-24311 Tel Avivunia Israel”. The bird was released back into the wilderness, once x-ray results showed no sign of spy-related installments.

Ankara 6th High Criminal Court suspended the trial of policeman Ahmet Şahbaz in the Ethem Sarısülük case, saying that necessary permission have not been taken on the prosecution of a policeman. “Police is being protected by the arm of justice. Justice process is blocked,” said advocate Bayraktar.

16 y.o. Kid Charged With 7 Years of Prison
Detained on June 2 for “attending Gezi Park protests”, M.Y. (16) has been charged with up to 7 years of prison and roughly 20,000 euros fine. The indictment, on the other hand, has yet to include any evidence.

“Suspected Policeman Might Receive No Prison Sentence”
An Ankara court accepted the prosecutor’s indictment on the case of Ahmet Şahbaz - a policeman who will stand trial for shooting Gezi protestor Ethem Sarısülük dead. “He might receive no prison sentence if the courts orders suspension due to low limit sentence,” Sarısülük family’s advocate said.

19 Ordered to Pay 4,500 Euros for Pot&Pan Protest
Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) released a statement, saying that 101 demonstrators were arrested during Gezi Resistance protests across Turkey with charges including “raiding a mosque”. Those who joined the protests by making noise with pots and pans were ordered to pay a total of 9,880 lira (roughly 4,500 euros).

Court’s Final Rule: Helmet Can’t Be Arrest Evidence
A vacation high criminal court accepted the objection made by advocates of 7 Gezi Park protestors whom another court issued arrest orders for having construction helmets and plasters. Reminding the criteria on the prevention of limitless ruling right and arbitrary decisions, the vacation high criminal court removed arrest warrants.

Turkish Doctors Union (TTB) released a statement, saying that at least 7,822 people were injured with 59 in serious condition. 4 protestors lost their lives and 11 lost eyesight, TTB said.
