According to Faruk Çelik, Turkey’s Minister of Labor and Social Security, only three child workers aged between 15 and 17 lost their lives in 2012. No data for 2013 is available. With respect to Istanbul Work Heath and Security Assembly, 34 child workers lost their lives in 2012 and so did 59 child workers in 2013.
