Theater Artist Orhan Aydın Released After Deposition

Theater artist Orhan Aydın has been taken into custody due to his social media posts.

Aydın announced his detention on his Twitter account:

“I’ve been taken to Beyoğlu Security Chief Office due to my social media posts. Presidency and Democracy!”

Aydın told that he was detained for writing "Long live life, long live theater" and "Political leg of July 15 coup attempt should be revealed" on Twitter.

Aydın was taken to hospital his deposition and he was released following the health check.
