The Supreme Election Council (YSK) announced the official results of the Presidential and 27th Term Parliamentary elections held on June 24.

The official election results, which were also published in the Official Gazette today (July 5), were announced by the Council Chair Sadi Güven at a statement for the press yesterday.

Güven said, "From now on, our all citizens can see the official reports regarding the election results of all ballot boxes around Turkey, the scanned versions of these reports. Our citizens can also see the reports showing the counting and ordering of votes as well as the reports regarding the combination of ballot boxes by the district election councils."

The official results are as follows:

Participation in elections: 86.22 percent

The total number of cast votes in Turkey, abroad and at customs gates:

Number of registered voters: 59 million 367 thousand 469

Number of voters who voted: 51 million 189 thousand 444

Number of valid votes: 50 million 137 thousand 175

Number of invalid votes: 1 million 52 thousand 269

Rate of participation in elections: 86.22 percent

Presidential election

The number of votes cast for the Presidential candidates is as follows:

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 26 million 330 thousand 823

Muharrem İnce: 15 million 340 thousand 321

Selahattin Demirtaş: 4 million 205 thousand 974

Meral Akşener: 3 million 649 thousand and 30

Temel Karamollaoğlu: 443 thousand 704

Doğu Perinçek: 98 thousand 955

Vote rates of political parties

Justice and Development Party (AKP): 42.56 percent

Republican People's Party (CHP): 22.65 percent

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP): 11.70 percent

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP): 11.10 percent

İYİ Party: 9.96 percent
