Notes from 14th Day of Justice March

The Justice March launched by the Republican People's Party (CHP) from İstanbul to Ankara entered its 14th day yesterday (June 28).

CHP Spokesperson Bülent Tezcan made a statement following Central Executive Board meeting and said that a public demonstration will be held in Maltepe on July 9. “This struggle will continue until justice is won”.

* CHP Central Executive Board meeting was held at 12:30 p.m.

* Socialist International Secretary General Luis Ayala and Socialist International Deputy Chair and CHP former MP Umut Oran were also in the march.

* Freedom and Solidarity Party (ÖDP) Leader Alper Taş, People’s Turkey Communist Party (HTKP) Chair Erkan Baş and Democrat Party (DP) Chair Gültekin Uysal, former minister Gürcan Dağdaş and June Movement Executive Board were in the march too.

* The group departed from Düzce to Sakarya on the 14th day of the Justice March.

* Issuing a statement for the press, CHP Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu referring to fertilizer being unloaded by a truck on the road yesterday said that they are prepared against any sort of provocation and they will not fall into it. (EKN/TK)
