Minister of Interior Ala Declares Curfews, Operations to Begin

Minister of Interior, Efkan Ala has declared that operations will be launched into areas of barricade and ditches after the preparations are completed.

Ala stating there are barricades and ditches in Turkey’s southeastern Yüksekova district of Hakkari, Nusaybin district of Mardin, and Şırnak Central, and the operations to be launched against these areas will be informed by the governorships in advance, has noted all the barricades will be removed.

“Opportunity to live better will be provided to our citizens. While this practice is performed, time of operation will be notified to citizens and operations will be launched after the preparations are made.

“There are barricades and ditches in three areas. Curfew will be imposed on the citizens. We have always made call for people who turned front yard of citizens’ house into ditches. Everyone should appreciate the votes they won”.

“There is no limit to service to citizens but…”

“Now operations ended in Cizre and Sur. And now, since police search is continuing, curfews continue as well.

“We will be with our citizens with the understanding of touching upon every issue of each family.

“We are the ones serving for those who want service. We have to do everything as soon as possible to solve this issue with the minimum cost.

“There is no limit to service to citizens but our fight against those trying to disturb order of our citizens will persist”. (EKN/TK)
