Both Export, Import Drop in 2016

The Ministry of Customs and Trade has announced the temporary foreign trade data.

Export has become $142.6 billion seeing a decrease of %0.84 and import has become $198.6 billion with a %4.7 fall year-on-year, according to the data.

Foreign trade deficit

Regressing by %2.81 year-on-year, the foreign trade volume dropped to 341 billion and 187 million dollars from 351 billion and 41 million dollars.

The foreign trade deficit marked a decrease of %11.74 in the period in question.

The rate of export covering import rose to %71.8 from %69.4.  (YY/TK)
