Actor Malkovich Supports Actor Levent Üzümcü

The star of Dangerous Liaisons, The Man in the Iron Mask and Being John Malkovich shared a supportive message for actor Levent Üzümcü who was expelled from İstanbul Municipal Theater.

Üzümcü shared Malkovich’s video via his Facebook account: 

"Hello Levent, Meltem asked me to send you a video shoot, she keeps me posted on what's going on there and I'm sorry to hear of your troubles and what we can hope for is a better future. Take care and best wished from me.

What happened?

Levent Üzümcü announced he had been expelled from İstanbul Municipal Theatre via his twitter account in August, 2015. Üzümcü was expelled showing his speech on social networks, way of expressing his ideas to the press and his speech on Congress of Socialist International reasons (EA/BD)
