2 Full Generals Resign Ahead of Supreme Military Council

Land Forces Command Chief of Staff Full General, Kamil Başoğlu serving under Land Forces Commander, Salih Zeki Çolak, and Education and Doctrine (EDOK) Commander Full General, İhsan Uyar have resigned minutes away from the start of the Supreme Military Council (YAŞ).

The YAŞ members will gather at the Çankaya Mansion at 11 a.m.

The members visited the Mausoleum. Differently from the past years, the aide-de-camps of YAŞ member commanders didn’t take place in the ceremony.

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım signed the Official Mausoleum Memorial Book. “Turkey put up its second independence fight on July 15”, wrote Yıldırım in the book. (EKN/TK)
