82 Workers Die at Work in November
At least 82 workers have lost their lives at work in November adding up to total death toll of 802 in 2011, according to data compiled by a worker health and safety association.

Work Safety? - Too Expensive...
A report of the Istanbul Assembly for Occupational Health and Work Safety revealed that 396 workers died in accidents at work in the first nine months of this year. The assembly holds the state and the companies responsible since they neglected work security.

Yet Another Death at a Shipyard
The second shipyard death this year is "only" one in a long tragic chain of deaths. Worker Cemil Akgül died on 18 February after being electrocuted at the Tuzla Shipyards on the outskirts of Istanbul.
