Bursa Medical Chamber Chair Alpaslan Türkkan has said, “While the number of applications per physician was 3.1 in 2002, this number increased to 9.8 in 2019 after the Transformation in Healthcare Program entered into force.”

TTB Chair Prof. Korur-Fincancı spoke in Kocaeli on the second day of the “White March”, expressing physicians’ determination to struggle until they get their rights. The Diyarbakır and İzmir Medical Chambers have expressed support for the march.

With the Health Ministry not responding to its appointment request on October 1, The TTB decided to protest. Setting off on their “White March” in İstanbul, the TTB members are expected to arrive in the capital city of Ankara on November 27.
