According to CHP MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu’s report, at least 49 access blocks were imposed and 13 people were detained, 4 people were arrested for expressing their opinions. 12 people faced an investigation for the same reason.

335,324 individual applications to Constitutional Court since 2012
While 89.3 percent of the individual applications finalized by the Constitutional Court were found inadmissible by the top court, 62.5 percent of the 14,911 applications with at least one right violation were about the right to a fair trial.

According to a report prepared by main opposition CHP MP Tanrıkulu, 2,123 people were detained during events and demonstrations, 44 people were arrested and 294 people were convicted in trials over meetings and demonstrations in 2020.
