The Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Thoracic Society have released monthly reports on the pandemic as it's been eight months since Turkey reported the first case.

In a written statement, the society has underlined that there is a serious increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Turkey, as far as it is informed by its members, and noted that “Turkey is considered to be nearing its second peak in the first wave.”
