Lawyer Keresticioğlu stated that even after the amendments of the Anti-Terror Law, children still remain in detention under charges of "membership of an illegal organization" and "carrying explosives". The lawyer demanded amendments of the Turkish Criminal Law for the release of the children.

G9 Press Platform Demands Release of Detained Journalists
The G9 Platform demanded to have press freedom protected under constitutional law. The association of press organizations furthermore requested the amendment of 27 articles of the Turkish Criminal Law and the release of all journalists in detention.
