Announcing its interlocutory judgement in the Çorlu train derailment case, the court has ruled that an expert investigation shall be conducted and requests for criminal complaint shall be discussed after the evidence is obtained and expert report is reviewed.

In the first hearing of the Çorlu train derailment case, the Çorlu 1st Heavy Penal Court has sent the case file to the upper court upon the allegation that “the relatives of the deceased were battered upon the instruction of the court.”

Making a statement for the press in front of Çorlu Courthouse in Tekirdağ, the families of 25 people who lost their lives in Çorlu train accident in July 2018 have announced that they will start standing a justice watch as of April 19.
