Turkey’s tourism income has decreased by over 70 percent
According to the Tourism Statistics of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Turkey’s tourism income dropped to 4 billion 356 thousand lira in the July-August-September 2020 period amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Economy of Turkey Grows by 1.6 Percent in Third Quarter of 2018
The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced that the economy of Turkey has grown by 1.6 percent in the third quarter of 2018. In the same period last year, the economic growth rate of the country was announced as 11.1 percent by the institute.

A total of 72 journalists and 35 distributors remained in prison in the 2012 third quarterly report term. 3 people, including one journalist and one distributor were sentenced to a total of 20 years, 7 months in prison for violating the TMK.

BİA Media Monitoring Report 2011 - Third Quarter Full Text
In July, August and September 2011, 66 journalists were in jail, 11 of whom because of their writings and utterances. 13 people are facing imprisonment of 334.5 years in total. Most of the trials are based on Articles 7/2 of the Anti Terror Law and 314 and 220 of the Criminal Law.
