An Istanbul court has sentenced responsible editor Dolu of the Tercüman newspaper to an administrative fine for allowing anti-militarist journalists Mağden and Temelkuran to be insulted in the paper.

Following their denouncement of militarism in their respective columns, journalists Mağden and Temelkuran became targets for the Tercüman newspaper. An editor of the paper is now on trial for insulting them.

After attacking journalists Magden and Temelkuran who spoke out against the nationalist manipulation of children, the Tercüman newspaper is being taken to court.
