Detained after attempting to break their Ramadan fasts in Gezi Park, 6 individuals have been released. While four detainees were released after their testimonies to police and prosecutors, Haluk Ağabeyoğlu and Ahmet Batal have been released after their testimony to a court.

University student Ali Ismail Korkmaz (19), a Gezi Resistance protestor who was severely battened by a group of casually-dressed people on June 3, died in a hospital in the central province of Eskişehir. While attackers have yet to be identified, related surveillance camera recordings turned out to be “damaged”.

Turkish Doctors Union (TTB) released a statement, saying that at least 7,822 people were injured with 59 in serious condition. 4 protestors lost their lives and 11 lost eyesight, TTB said.

The government spokesperson Hüseyin Çelik made a declaration after the meeting, saying that they will wait for court’s final decision on the future of Gezi Park and go on a plebiscite no matter the outcome of the ongoing prosecution.
