Officials Claim Lack of Information - Defendants Do not Remember
The disclosure of the "Storm" plan gave a new twist to the Bayrampaşa trial on the "Return to Life" operation. The then Minister of Justice Türk and the former Prisons General Manager Ertosun said they were not informed about the plan. The defendants claimed not to remember anything.

Journalist Zengin Remains in Detention
The Istanbul 10th High Criminal court rejected the release of journalist and interpreter Suzan Zengin. Zengin will have been kept in detention for almost two years by the time of the next hearing on 14 June.

Murder Suspect and Victim's Daughters Testified
The Ankara 1st High Criminal Court decided to research defendant Yetkin's competence to stand trial. Yetkin is tried for killing his divorced wife Ayşe Paşalı. Both daughters of the victim gave their statements at the second hearing of the trial.

"We want free education, and we'll get it" was written on the banner posted by university students Tüzer and Yılmaz who have not been released in the second hearing of the related trial. 2 other students were taken into custody because they protested the court's decision.

Testimonies of "Return to Life" Eye Witnesses
In the second hearing of the "Bayrampaşa trial" related to the "return to life" operation, the court decided to obtain the results of a previous probe into then Minister of Justice Türk, Minister of the Interior Tantan, Gendarmerie Commander Yalman and other officials.

Human rights organizations were not accepted as joint plaintiffs in the case regarding the killing of communist party member Karadağ by the police. The eyewitness heard in the second hearing called the police "friends" and confused the court with contradicting statements.

None of the defendants was released in the second hearing of the trial regarding 10 members the Peace Groups. Two groups came to Turkey in 2009 to make their contribution to the democratic opening process related to the Kurdish question.

President Judge: not the TSK Is on Trial
In the second hearing of the "Cage" trial, defendant Adm. Öğütçü claimed a clandestine third power to be behind the plot. Court president Yılmazabdurrahmanoğlu called the defendants and their lawyers to remain reasonable and emphasized that it is not the Turkish Army being tried.

Five people are tried together with Colonel Temizöz and Abdülhakim Güven regarding a number of unsolved murders. Güven claimed that his statement made under the name of "Ball-Point Pen" are invalid and that he signed that statement without knowing its content.

Radio journalist Gürbüz was released from detention in her second hearing. Gürbüz had been detained after an operation against the Turkish communist party. Her trial is to be continued.
