The Constitutional Court has rejected the application of a convict who was prevented from having a phone call with his attorney. The court has indicated that prison administrations have the authority to impose restrictions relating to these issues.

Banned by Kocaeli Prison administration, Yürüyüş magazine has been “acquitted” by a Constitutional Court verdict. However, Van Prison has not recognized the verdict and not given the magazine to the inmate appealing to court for four years.
