The Governorship of Mersin has banned all LGBTI+ events to be held in the province for 20 days “to protect public morality.” The ban will also be in effect in the 5th Mersin Pride Week, which will start on July 1 and continue till July 7.

The 27th İstanbul LGBTI+ Pride Week has started. A series of workshops, discussion panels, parties and film screenings will be held for a week as part of Pride Week events.
