OSCE: Journalists Apply Auto-Censorship
The OSCE Election Monitoring Delegation stated that the general elections on 12 June were done in a pluralistic and secure environment. The delegation criticized the 10-percent electoral threshold and urged the state to "establish a media distant of political pressure".

AKP Wins; 36 Seats for Independent Candidates
Four parties will be in parliament after the general elections in Turkey on Sunday. The AKP succeeded to gain votes for the third time, the CHP bore away a moderate gain. The MHP passed the 10-percent election threshold, the Independent Candidates won 36 seats in parliament.
