The law on paid military service has been published on the Official Gazette. The age limit has been specified as the ones who were born on and before January 1, 1994.

The bag law draft, which has also foreseen the introduction of paid military service, has been approved by the General Assembly of the Parliament and become a law.

According to the letter sent from the Ministry of Defense, male students completing 29 years of age have two options in order to enroll in a school: Paid military service or leaving their education unfinished and joining the army for 15 months.
