Özgür Gelecek Newspaper editor-in-chief Aslı Ceren Aslan was taken into custody in Urfa where she wanted to follow up the latest developments in Syria and Rojava and was later arrested for “border violation” and “being a member of an [illegal] organization”.

Police have conducted raid on houses of Özgür Gelecek weekly employees and readers. Three employees of the newspaper have been taken into custody.
