Excavators enter Dersim's Munzur Springs
As part of a landscaping project that will zone Munzur Springs in Dersim for construction, earth diggers have entered the area which is a sacred place for the Alevi faith. They have started working despite the objections of citizens and NGOs.

Homes of Kurdish Families in Izmir Burnt Down
The homes of 14 Kurdish families in Çeşme (Izmir) were demolished and burnt down because the houses were allegedly located on agricultural land. The families reacted by breaking the windows of the municipality building.
