A tender has been put out for “lease for construction” on an olive grove in Ilıca area of Burhaniye district’s Pelitköy Neighborhood.

The new Statutory Decree decree No. 696, released yesterday, has cleared the way for the removal of the olive groves in Bursa’s Gemlik district, population 107,000. CHP representative İrgil has stated that “this Statutory Decree is the death of these olive groves.”
