Commemoration of Ankara Massacre | Police attacks, barricades, detentions for 6 years
When people wanted to commemorate the 103 people killed in a bomb attack in Ankara in 2015, police intervened with tear gas in the first two years. A limited attendance was allowed next year. The ceremony in 2020 was not allowed “due to pandemic.”

Those Who Lost Their Lives in October 10 Massacre Commemorated
Three years have passed since the Ankara Massacre on October 10, 2015, which claimed the lives of 103 people and injured more than 500 others. The police has not allowed the commemoration to be held in Ankara and battered one person. Upon the reaction of people, the police has permitted entrance to the site of commemoration.
