Taken into custody in a police raid against İdil Cultural Center ahead of Grup Yorum concert in İstanbul, Nuriye Gülmen and Rıdvan Akbaş have been arrested, Yasemin Karadağ, Fırat Kaya and Ezgi Kul have been released on probation.

In the first hearing held without the presence of the defendants, the court ruled that Gülmen and Özakça remain further in detention on remand. The defendants have been on a hunger strike for 190 days and are behind bars since May 23. The next hearing will be on September 28.
