M.A.A., who set fire to Müjdat Gezen Art Center, has been arrested after his earlier release on probation.

M.A.A. who set Müjdat Gezen Art Center on fire has been released on probation by the court which he was referred to for arrest following the prosecution questioning.

M.A.A who set Müjdat Gezen Art’s Center on fire has in his statement said; “I did this in reaction to him insulting the grandchild of Abdul Hamid Han. I did this under the influence of alcohol”.

A fire has broken out in Müjdat Gezen Art Center in İstanbul’s Kadıköy district. “It is an arson”, Gezen said.
